Anics Skif A3000
By neil1972
Firstly; am I the only one who likes these pistols?
I hear nothing but bad reviews about these; maybe I've been lucky and got a good
un?
Anyway, the Anics Skif A3000 is a Russian made, 28 shot Co2 pistol.
The main body of the gun is made of high impact abs, with a metal top slide and
many steel components,
This pistol can be fired both single and double action, you can even cock the
slide, just like you would a real gun.
The power comes from the good old 12gram Co2 bulb; which is loaded in the bottom
of the pistol grip.
The pellet magazine is situated in the pistol grip too.
First impressions are of a sturdy but light pistol almost Glock like.
Standard features are safety catch, fully adjustable sights for both windage and
elevation, unlike many other Co2 pistols.
The pistol can be field stripped to allow cleaning and lubrication.
In use I am getting an average of around 65-70 powerful shots per Co2 bulb, which
is good for a Co2 pistol.
One of the main complaints about this gun is its magazine. It works on a
conveyer belt type principal and if the pellets are not loaded just right, the
gun can jam easily, however if loaded correctly, with the tool provided I have
experianced zero jams. One comment to make is that you should use
only flat head pellets as the pointed ones may be too long and may cause jams in
the conveyer system.
I have found the to be quite good; even double action; althouhg the trigger pull
is a little stiff. Mine has improved with use.
My 11 year old can shoot this quite comfortably single action.
If you can get one; these are a great second hand buy, I purchased a black (also
a nickel slide version) example with 3 mags and a pistol case
included for £65
